The "contras" invading Syria were from Egypt, the Sudan, Somalia...attacking from Jordan, Iraq, Turkey, Lebanon. You notice that there are no planes or helicopters. Everything is back to normal in Damascus. The Syrian army can savor its victory and the people of Syria can finally rest after several terrifying days that have been imposed to them by foreign powers who sent the mercenaries here.
