How much does the US government spend each year to prove AGW? About $10M a day. According to Forbes, "the U.S. Government spent more than $32.5 billion on climate studies between 1989 and 2009. This doesn’t count about $79 billion more spent for climate change technology research, foreign aid and tax breaks for “green energy.” " There is your money trail. Follow it to its logical end.

The skeptics, in general, receive little or no money from governments, and these days almost nothing from special interest groups. Skeptics, in large part, use the same data used by the AGW crowd, but come to a very different conclusion. Serious problems exist with the data and research done by the AGW people. The Mann hockey stick is the best example, but there is much more. The report of melting of the glaciers in the Himalayas was based on an unverified comment from a guide, for example.
