Members of Congress have been busy partying and drinking during the government shutdown, according to several local reports.
“I don’t think the public would be happy to know that they are actually enjoying this time,” one bartender at Hawk and Dove bar on Pennsylvania Avenue told WUSA9 News. He added that members of Congress started off with a party the first night of the shutdown.
