The head of the international body tasked with the destruction of Syria’s chemical weapons has hailed the country’s cooperation in bringing about the progress the mission made over the past month.
Sigrid Kaag, the head of the joint mission of the United Nations and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), made the remarks in a statement issued on Tuesday after she briefed the UN Security Council on the issue.
Kaag said that the team of international investigators “benefitted from a very quick and constructive collaboration” with the Syrian government during the first month of efforts of eradicating the country’s chemical weapons arsenal .... http://www.presstv.ir
