Princess Diana’s landmine charity suspends its chief executive


One of Britain’s biggest charities, backed by Prince Harry and Angelina Jolie, has suspended its chief executive following an investigation by The Telegraph into its finances.

Guy Willoughby, who co-founded the Halo Trust, was ordered to step down as chief executive by trustees at a charity board meeting this week.

The decision to suspend Mr Willoughby was prompted by disclosures in The Telegraph that the landmine charity had used hundreds of thousands of pounds of donors’ money to pay the boarding school fees of Mr Willoughby’s children .... http://www.telegraph.co.uk
