A small snow storm is expected to drop 2 to 3 inches of snow on the state Wednesday night and Thursday, with up to 5 inches in Essex County, the National Weather Service says.
Then, another storm is expected to strike this weekend with a wintry combination of snow, ice, rain, fog, and gusty southwesterly winds.
