REM blast Donald Trump for using their music in US presidential campaign
Michael Stipe may have sung about losing his religion in 1991, but on Wednesday evening he appeared to lose his temper with the politicians scrabbling for attention in the ongoing US presidential campaign. Republican candidate and surprise early poll leader Donald Trump walked out to the REM song It’s the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine) at a rally in Washington, DC, and the band were none too impressed to find themselves dragged into the political arena on Trump’s behalf.
