VISALIA, Calif. — A man in a wheelchair has been shot and killed by Visalia police after allegedly lunging toward an officer with a knife.
The confrontation happened Saturday afternoon after Sequoia Mall security guards unsuccessfully tried to detain the 29-year-old man, whom they suspected of shop lifting, the Visalia Times-Delta reports. ( http://vtd-tar.co/tmmZ7F )
