Vaccine Slightly Raises Babies’ Risk of Febrile Seizure


The combination vaccine known as DTaP-IPV-Hib protects kids against 5 life-threatening infections including diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis or whooping cough, polio and Haemophilus influenzae type b, which causes illnesses such as pneumonia and meningitis.

Previous study had suggested that an older version of the pertussis vaccine could cause fevers and increase the risk of related seizure, but it is not clear if the risk also applies to newer versions in combined vaccines .... Read more at http://www.presstv.ir
