Why did no one fight back against James Holmes Batman movie massacre shooter?

Mike Adams asks the question that's been burning in everyone's mind: How is it that no one apparently fought back against this shooter? How could he shoot 70 people, spanning at least two minutes, pausing to reload, clear jams, etc, and NOBODY fights back with concealed firearms, knives, fists, grappling, eye gouging, nut sack kicking, etc?
