Scots to get a vote on sticking with Europe

Most Scots want Prime Minister David Cameron to call an in/out referendum on the EU


SCOTTISH voters are to get the opportunity to demand an in/out referendum on Britain's membership of the EU within months, the Sunday Express can reveal.

The People's Pledge campaign is planning to come to either Dundee or Aberdeen "in the autumn" to send a message to government leaders at both Holyrood and Westminster.

It is likely to spark a fierce debate on Britain and Scotland's relationship with Europe, putting pressure on the pro-EU SNP in its traditional heartlands and upsetting the belief that Scots are less Euro-sceptic than their southern neighbours .... http://www.express.co.uk
