A Boeing 777 operated by Asiana Airlines crashed while landing at San Francisco International Airport on Saturday, according to Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson Lynn Lunsford.
Asiana Flight 214 inbound from Seoul, South Korea apparently crashed sometime after touching down on Runway 28. Rescue efforts were underway, according to the airport's official Twitter account.
