(21/08/2013) Military Hovercraft Unexpectedly Lands on Crowded Russian Beach

Beachgoers in Mechnikovo, near Kaliningrad, Russia, got a big surprise when a military hovercraft 'Zubr' (Bison) landed next to them. 

The Russian Defense Ministry said that the incident was just a normal practice and that the beach is on military grounds. 

Komsomolskaya Pravda points out that the Baltic Fleet usually trains a couple kilometers north from that location.
