Four officials found guilty over Russia flooding

On Tuesday, a court in southern Russia handed down criminal negligence convictions to four now-former local officials from the flood-stricken city of Krymsk.

Former Krymsk district head Vasily Krutko, former Krymsk Mayor Vladimir Ulanovsky, former head of the nearby village of Nizhnebaksanskaya, Irina Ryabchenko, and former deputy head of the district's emergency response department, Viktor Zhdanov, were convicted in a Krasnodar region court.
