TEPCO to Remove 13,000 Nuclear Fuel Rods Containing 14,000 Times More Radiation than Nuclear Bomb

Fukushima’s nuclear plant utility operator TEPCO announced Thursday that they would begin efforts starting in November to remove 13,000 fuel rod assemblies from the volatile and damaged fuel pool at the vastly crippled nuclear reactor facility.
