Criminal inquiry opens into decades of alleged sexual abuse at top public school – just months after classics teacher is arrested for possession of indecent images


Detectives are investigating three decades of alleged sexual abuse at a top London public school, it emerged today.

The Metropolitan Police are looking into historical claims of abuse at St Paul’s boys’ school and its prep school, Colet Court, after a number of pupils who attended the school between the 1960s and 1980s were said to have come forward with new information.

The inquiry comes just months after a classics teacher at Colet Court resigned his post after he was arrested and bailed on suspicion of possession of indecent images.

Another former teacher at the school has also been arrested and bailed as part of the investigation .... http://www.dailymail.co.uk
