Tony Blair demands investigation into claims one of his ministers sexually abused children


Tony Blair has called for an ­investigation into any evidence of a cover-up over claims one of his ministers sexually abused ­children .

The former Prime Minister said he had “no ­recollection” of being told a Labour politician was named in 1998 as a suspected member of a paedophile ring at a children’s home.

He spoke for the first time since our revelation that an investigation into sex abuse was shut down soon after allegations were made against the minister.

Mr Blair’s spokesman said: “Mr Blair has absolutely no ­recollection of this ever being brought to his attention .... http://www.mirror.co.uk
