Tony Blair has called for an investigation into any evidence of a cover-up over claims one of his ministers sexually abused children .
The former Prime Minister said he had “no recollection” of being told a Labour politician was named in 1998 as a suspected member of a paedophile ring at a children’s home.
He spoke for the first time since our revelation that an investigation into sex abuse was shut down soon after allegations were made against the minister.
