The European police says more than 1,000 people have been arrested in the biggest organized crime crackdown in Europe.
Europol Director Rob Wainwright on Wednesday described the nine-day sweep as “the single largest assault” on organized crime in the green continent.
“The scale of the operation is unprecedented,” Wainwright told reporters in The Hague.
The detainees were suspected of offences including human trafficking, drug smuggling, illegal immigration, counterfeiting and theft .... http://www.presstv.ir
