Israel cancels plan to purchase US V-22 Ospreys

Israel has canceled a plan to buy military aircraft from the United States, amid already frosty relations with Washington.

According to Israeli media reports on Thursday, Israeli Minister for Military Affairs Moshe Ya’alon decided to back out of the decision to buy six US V-22 Osprey military aircraft from the US.

Negotiations between the two sides on the purchase of the aircraft had been held back in April 2013. Tel Aviv and Washington, however, had signed no deal over the issue .... http://www.presstv.ir
