Over 20 civilians killed in shelling by Ukrainian army in Luhansk

The Ukrainian army has been shelling inhabited localities of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) since Monday evening, acting LPR people’s police commander Oleg Bugrov said Tuesday.

“It started yesterday evening. The Ukrainian armed forces delivered an artillery strike in violation of all agreements established by the Minsk memorandum. Ukraine threatens to abolish peace plan with pro-Russians

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko says Kiev will reconsider its commitment to a ceasefire pact with pro-Russia forces after they held their own elections in the country’s east.

Poroshenko said that on Tuesday, he and the country’s security chiefs would “re-examine” Kiev’s commitments to the agreement, which could include “abolition” of a significant element in the truce that offered the pro-Russians autonomy within Ukraine’s existing borders .... http://www.presstv.com
