Vitamin D supplementation reduces need for respiratory support, study suggests

Researchers from Boston's Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School have discovered that inadequate vitamin D supplementation among surgical intensive care patients can increase the amount of time needed on respiratory support.
