Another dose of frigid arctic air for the East will make for a brutally cold Friday AM


Behind Winter Storm Linus, a cold airmass has swept into the central and eastern United States.
On Groundhog Day, subzero temperatures were recorded during the morning as far south as northern Kansas and northern Missouri.

Omaha, Nebraska equaled its coldest temperature so far this winter with a low of 4 degrees below zero. The coldest spot in the Lower 48 was Embarrass, Minnesota, which dipped to 31 degrees below zero.

Residents of Upstate New York and northern New England woke up to subzero temperatures Tuesday morning. Along the I-95 corridor, lows ranged from the single digits in Boston to the teens in New York City. Wind chills were in the 20s below zero in northern Maine, while Boston and Albany, N.Y. both had wind chills in the teens below zero to start the morning .... http://investmentwatchblog.com
