Britain braces itself for a VERY cold night with temperatures set to dip as low as MINUS 11 with forecasters predicting snow for much of the country

The Met Office has issued cold weather warnings for most of the country following days of travel disruption caused by icy roads, heavy snow and sleet. The South of England will experience some if its coldest weather of the winter tonight, with temperatures falling to around -5C, and as northerly winds ease, frost is expected to cover much of Britain tomorrow morning. Snowy scenes were captured in Great Longstone, Derbyshire today (main picture) where a walker was seen braving the cold, while a half-buried car was seen stranded in several feet of snow near Chapel-en-le-Frith in the Peak District .... http://www.dailymail.co.uk
