Dominique Strauss-Kahn trial on verge of collapse as four prostitutes drop civil cases against him

The criminal case against former International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn is on the verge of collapse as four prostitutes dropped their civil actions against him today.

The women have been the main prosecution witnesses in a trial in Lille, northern France, in which the 65-year-old is accused of aggravated pimping.

The former IMF-chief faces up to ten years in prison and a fine of more than £1 million if found guilty at the end of proceedings later this week .... http://www.dailymail.co.uk
