Snowstorm buries Calhoun County


Despite good progress Monday and crews on mandatory 12-hour shifts, all Battle Creek streets might not be cleared of snow for two or three days.

"A rough estimate is Wednesday or Thursday evening," Todd Gerber, the city's superintendent of streets and parks, said Monday afternoon. "The snow is pushing pretty hard and we have so much out there."
