Ancient Moscow convent bell tower in flames - Novodevichy burns (UNESCO site)

The bell tower of Novodevichy (New Maiden) Convent is on fire. The blaze is concentrated on scaffolds. The cause of the fire is unknown. It is one of top city attractions, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Numerous prominent people have been buried in its cemetery.
