Footage of Greek finance minister giving one finger salute to Berlin WAS faked: German TV presenter reveals how his team manipulated the video

Footage of the new Greek finance minister allegedly giving Germany a one-fingered salute was faked, it has been revealed.

A video appeared online earlier this week which appeared to show Yanis Varoufakis holding up his middle finger when giving a speech about Greece’s finances and Germany in 2013.

But Jan Bohermann, host of satirical TV programme ‘Neo Magazin Royale’ on public broadcast channel ZDF, admitted that his production team had doctored the footage .... http://www.dailymail.co.uk
