Cameron To Hand Over £500 Million of Taxpayers Money to Stop Migrants Reaching the EU

David Cameron is willing to give Turkey £275 million of taxpayers money over the next two years to help it cope with the influx of migrants and to help stop them reaching the EU.

This is in addition to the £200 million already pledged to African countries to stop them sending migrants to Europe.

Mr Cameron will also urge African nations to accept more returning migrants who have tried to enter the Europe illegally.

The extra support for Africa and Turkey came after the Prime Minister vowed the UK will play a "huge and historic role" in helping to tackle the migration crisis, including stepping up efforts to "smash" gangs of human traffickers .... http://www.express.co.uk
