Dreaming of a white Easter? Britain faces a MONTH of snow chaos and freezing temperatures

The Met Office has predicted that the cold snap will continue into next week before temperatures start to get milder.

Today the Peak District, the Pennines, the Cotswolds and the Scottish Highlands have been blanketed in thick snow, and drivers are being warned about potentially treacherous conditions on icy roads.

After heavy snow coated large parts of Northern England on Friday, Storm Jake is set to move slowly down into the South East and central areas will be hit with rain, sleet and snow.

It will remain a cold weekend for most with snowfall on high ground across parts of Scotland, Wales and the South West of England .... http://www.dailymail.co.uk
