Syria: Domestic Opposition Will Boycott Parliamentary Elections

Syria's main domestic opposition body, the National Coordination Body for Democratic Change, called for a boycott of the country's April 13 parliamentary elections, AFP reported March 10. Leaders from the group are accusing the Syrian government of using the upcoming elections as leverage in peace talks to end the country's ongoing civil war. U.N.
