Truck used in Berlin 'terror attack' was 'HIJACKED' before ploughing into Christmas market killing shoppers


The truck used to plough into a Christmas market in Berlin, killing at least nine people, may have been hijacked, according to the firm which owns it.

The delivery company said the vehicle had left Poland this afternoon before driving to Germany but lost touch with the firm at 4pm local time.

A suspect has been arrested after a truck ploughed through a Christmas market in Berlin at 40mph, killing and injuring shoppers, is on the run, according to reports.
