CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The heart of the cold air that was headed for Charlotte has arrived.
The temperature Friday morning was 10 in the Queen City, and it’s possible temps may still get close to the record low of seven in town.
The dangerous wind chills in the mountains will improve throughout Friday, but temperatures will remain close to zero. It will be that way until at least late Saturday morning, before temperatures get back to freezing .... http://www.wsoctv.com
