The Israeli government has agreed to pay $6 million in hush money to a group of IDF soldiers who were forced into tests for a live anthrax vaccine.
Hundreds of solders filed lawsuits claiming wrongdoing, and have been in a legal battle with the IDF for over three years.
Every soldier who filed a claim will receive NIS 36,000 ($10,000), while soldiers who didn’t file a claim but participated in the experiment will receive NIS 27,000 ($7,000).
