Retired General Calls For US Army On Streets To Restore Civil Order

A retired lieutenant general appeared on CNN with Anderson Cooper Tuesday night and advocated putting active duty soldiers on the streets of Ferguson and elsewhere to help restore law and order in the wake of a second night of looting and violence.

Gen. Russel L. HonorĂ©, who was the commander of Joint Task Force Katrina across the Gulf Coast, was asked his opinion on how police should respond to protesters and violent agitators in Ferguson and major cities such as Los Angeles following the trouble related to the grand jury decision in the Michael Brown case .... http://www.prisonplanet.com
